Yesterday I met a traveller in my friend's Bonsai Garden. While they are away he is looking after the precious plants and feeds the two cats. We got into a brief dicsussion about meditiation and spirituality. The question was who needs spirituality and if spirituality can be combined with a business career, as Michael Roach proclaims. The traveller made an interesting remark that for happy people, the search for the deeper meaning in life is useless because only the ones who think life is not perfect and "messed up", those are the ones look for spirituality in life and for God. And they have no time to endeavour in business adventures whatsoever. The deeper search for spirituality and a business career are according to him not compatible.
