“Whatever” in Singapore, an oasis for the spirit

Today I met Stella, the owner of www.whatever.com.sg, a spiritual centre that offers yoga, spiritual healing, has a book shop, a coffee shop and a cosy lounge. The energetic and lively Australian owner of Greek decent feels that there is an increasing need among female and male Singaporeans for spiritual assistance. This is why she set up the centre two years ago. Her constantly expanding premises near Chinatown are growing with the increasing demand. She feels that Singaporeans, like all human being, need to balance professional and spiritual life and need some spiritual “maintenance” besides just working. Singaporeans slowly realise that physical wealth does not automatically translates in to happiness.
