Picture: Secondhand design furniture and a café latte with it.
How can you decide if a chair is comfortable or not or a lamp gives the light you want? In furniture shops you hardly find enough time and patience to try out a chair or table and looks can deceive (have you ever sat on a Le Corbusier LC2?). A café in Zurich came up with a concept of furnishing its premises with second-hand design furniture that is at the same time for sale. So at My Place you can sit on design furniture while sipping a Café Latte while deciding if you want to buy the chair or not.
PS: But I wonder if they really sell a lot of furniture as the prices are steep and most of the clientele probably cannot be bothered.
