Food is central to any Asian culture and wherever Asians live an Asian food store pops up. I recently went to one in Zurich and was greeted by the lively chatter of Thais and Chinese, shopping for noodles, Asian vegetables, fruits and meat. Not only does the store offer a bewildering range of Asian food products but also the food products sold are much cheaper than any big Swiss retailer. So next time you are thinking about cooking Thai curry or Chinese soup, go and dive in into these stores while saving some cash as well!
