 Among my favorite Asian breakfasts are noodle-soup and dim sum. In Kuala Lumpur I got treated twice to yummy dim sum from food-stalls. It is cheap but delicious!

Gifts for the afterlife

In George Town, Penang, I found this shop that produces motorcycles, houses and other goods out of paper and bamboo. Those replicas get burned at a Chinese funeral and shall be gifts for the afterlife.

 

Balance in life

 As an ardent reader of my blog you know about my love for the finer things in life. I often asked myself if I am spoiling myself sometimes with handmade lanterns, shoes and bespoke suits. I recently came across a Buddhist saying that put everything in perspective: "It isn't that we can't enjoy the finer things in life, we just need to know they are not our life."

Hunt for an emergency exit seat

Singapore Airlines has been voted again and again the best airline and I think deservedly. However, flying economy is still a bothersome affair for tall guys. But since 2 months ago, one can get an emergency exit seat online for an extra 50 USD. Or if you feel lucky you can still try to get one when checking-in (better be early).
