The end of Carcosa Seri Negara?

I wrote about the last colonial hotel in Kuala Lumpur before and how much I liked it. Now news reached me that they want to destroy those marvelous colonial style buildings and redevelop the whole hill. Luckily, according to a reader's comment, the hotel shall only be refurbished (thanks god)!

I would like to inform you that the mansions as per my knowledge will NOT BE destroyed but refurbished. The development will take place but I am confident that the unique charme will remain and the historical areas not to be touched.

Carcosa Seri Negara will open its doors after the renovation again and welcome all its guests and friends for unique and memorable events / happenings.
